We make the process of having surgery with Dr. Ackerman in Newport Beach, CA rather seamless. Dr. Ackerman is accustomed to treating patients literally from around the world.  We walk you through the process step by step.

Step 1: Initiate the process with a phone call or an email to our Patient Coordinator.  Appropriate information and photographs will be requested.

Step 2: Telephone or a video chat consultation with Dr. Ackerman will be scheduled.

Step 3: The Patient Coordinator will discuss scheduling surgery, financial and other logistical details, including required after care and in town accommodations.

Step 4: Appropriate pre-operative instructions and medical evaluation will be thoroughly advised and reviewed.

Step 5: Patients typically arrive in Newport Beach 1-2 days prior to surgery.

Step 6: Patients stay in Newport Beach after their surgery approximately 5-10 days, depending on the complexity of their surgery.
